A number of New York credit unions were recently awarded grants from NCUA. The credit unions can use the funds to expand digital services in underserved communities, provide leadership training and improve cybersecurity.
The Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives administers the grant funding provided by the Community Development Revolving Loan Fund, which offers grants and loans to credit unions serving low-income communities.
The following New York credit unions received grants during the agency’s latest grant round:
- Queens Cluster FCU;
- Saint Lawrence FCU;
- ServU FCU;
- Southern Chautauqua FCU;
- Ulster FCU;
- Alternatives FCU;;
- New Covenant Dominion FCU;
- Cattaraugus County EFCU;
- Fidelis FCU;
- Local 804 FCU;
- Neighborhood Trust FCU; and
- Cooperative Federal CU (Syracuse).
