Greater Chautauqua FCU, a $67 million credit union located in Falconer, has been granted a Chautauqua County community charter expansion by the NCUA. The population of Chautauqua County is 130,846.
The credit union’s previous field of membership included over 200 businesses, organizations and municipality employee groups. Greater Chautauqua FCU CEO Kelly Haaksma, says she is excited to serve the consumers living throughout the county and to be able to serve the city of Jamestown with their new branch. “The county-wide expansion brings us the opportunity to serve Chautauqua County residents in so many ways, including low-cost products and services, financial literacy campaigns and exciting community events,” Haaksma said.
The application for the community charter expansion was written by the New York Credit Union Association.
