The deadline for nominations for the New York Credit Union Association’s 2020 Recognition Awards, which honor credit unions and individuals for their exceptional contributions to the credit union movement, is Feb. 14.

Winners will be honored at EXCEL 20, the Annual Meeting & Convention — the New York credit union movement’s premier event.

The Association is accepting nominations for the following credit union awards: the Louise Herring Philosophy in Action Member Service Award, the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award and the Desjardins Financial Education Awards.

Individual awards include: Outstanding Young Professional, Outstanding Professional, Outstanding Volunteer and the New York Credit Union Hall of Fame.

Importantly, nominations will no longer be accepted for the New York Credit Union Hall of Fame. Instead, inductees will be determined and selected directly by the Recognition Awards Committee.

All credit union Recognition Awards will be submitted online and all individual Recognition Awards — with the exception of the Hall of Fame award — will be sent directly to the Association, and cannot be submitted online.
