The New York Credit Union Association’s 2021 Statewide Scholarship Program is awarding over $30,000 in college scholarships to 41 bright, hardworking young credit union members.

The scholarships range from $500 to $1,500, and recipients are the top scorers included among more than 850 applications submitted by credit unions across the state. The program was open to New York credit union members who are high school seniors planning to enroll in two- or four-year colleges. Award recipients were selected based on academic performance, honors and awards, extracurricular activities, community activities, leadership roles and an essay.

The winners represent 21 credit unions and 11 chapters.  The complete list of winners is available on the Association’s website.
