Young CU professionals, last chance to apply to ‘crash’ the CUNA GAC!

Young credit union professionals and volunteers, it’s time to apply to “crash” the 2022 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference! Applications to attend the event are open until Friday, Dec. 3.

The 2022 CUNA GAC is set for Feb. 27 through March 3 — in-person — at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. The “Crash the GAC” event begins Feb. 26.

The “Crash the GAC” initiative is facilitated by the Cooperative Trust. Event crashers are credit union young professionals or volunteers who are sponsored to attend the conference with scholarships and can access additional content designed especially for them. Crashers receive professional development tools, meet virtually with industry leaders, network with peers and experience each event in a dynamic way.

Travel, lodging, and food costs are the responsibility of the crasher and their credit union. Young credit union professionals and volunteers can apply to crash the 2022 CUNA GAC here.

Interested participants can get a first-person look at one New York state crasher’s experience at the 2020 CUNA GAC in this New York Minute blog post.

In addition to the keynote and educational sessions, the event will also include virtual meetings with some of the most influential policymakers in the country.

The New York Credit Union Association has again secured a hotel room block for New York credit union attendees at the Renaissance Washington, D.C. Hotel.
