CUNA communicates COVID safety protocols for CUNA GAC 2022

CUNA has announced that anyone attending CUNA GAC 2022, set for Feb. 27 through March 3 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., must be vaccinated.

According to the CUNA GAC 2022 website:

Washington, D.C. recently communicated mask and vaccine requirements for indoor venues such as the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, hotels, and restaurants. Anyone ages 12+ must be fully vaccinated by February 15, 2022 … We’ll share details on how to verify your vaccination status soon. CUNA is actively monitoring and following the COVID-19 recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  We remain in contact with event conference sites and local public health officials about proactive measures being taken to protect you.

The CUNA GAC is considered the premier event for political impact in the credit union industry, drawing thousands of credit union advocates from across the country each year. In addition to the keynote and educational sessions, the event will also include virtual meetings with some of the most influential policymakers in the country.

The New York Credit Union Association has again secured a hotel room block for New York credit union attendees at the Renaissance Washington, D.C. Hotel. Attendees should register for the event through CUNA, but secure lodging through the Association. Hotel details are available on the Association’s website.
