Credit union opens its first Westchester County location

Mid-Hudson Valley FCU announced this week that it has opened its new Peekskill branch.

Peekskill is MHVFCU’s first Westchester County branch location — and making it the first credit union to serve the city. MHVFCU leaders worked closely with Peekskill officials to design a building that compliments the area’s architecture and history, while the new location sits conveniently in downtown Peekskill between two main streets that lead in and out of the city.

“We are very excited to serve the residents and small business owners of the Peekskill community,” said Wayne Winkler, MHVFCU president/ CEO. “The vision for this project started in 2019, when our credit union was granted a charter expansion to serve the counties of Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Sullivan counties. The people of Peekskill have been generous in welcoming us and we look forward to providing financial services and guidance in return.”
