Young Professionals Commission nominations open Feb. 1

The New York Credit Union Association’s nomination period for candidates to serve on the Young Professionals Commission opens Feb. 1. Do you know a young credit union professional who is passionate about advocacy, networking and the credit union movement? If so, you may want to consider nominating them for the YP Commission!

The Commission is composed of credit union professionals, ages 39 and younger. Members are tasked with developing strategies to help credit unions attract and engage young adult members, employees and volunteers. Each term is two years, and there are currently several open seats available for nomination.

Nominations are being accepted through Feb. 28. Individuals interested in serving on the Commission should speak with their managers or CEOs to begin the nomination process. Only one representative per credit union is permitted on the Commission at a time. Complete details, including the nomination form, are available on the Association’s website.
