 The New York Credit Union Association has released additional resources to help credit unions navigate the frivolous lawsuits filed over website accessibility and the Americans With Disabilities Act – NYCUA

 The Senate is moving forward with the Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief and Consumer Protection Act (S. 2155), and the Association and CUNA are urging credit union advocates to contact lawmakers and urge support for the bill – The Point

 Nominations are being accepted for the New York Credit Union Association’s board of directors and for positions on the chapter leadership councils. Nominations will remain open until April 11, 2018 – The Point

 In an unsurprising twist, Equifax said it will notify an additional 2.4 million U.S. consumers that they were affected by the massive data breach last year – CNBC

 Merchant groups are pushing back against a potential data breach bill being crafted by members of the House Financial Services Committee – CU Times

 The Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center, an industry forum for sharing data about critical cybersecurity threats facing the banking and finance industries, said that they were victims of a successful phishing attack – KrebsOnSecurity

 Canada’s finance minister is set to overturn Bank Act restrictions that would have prevented credit unions from using words like “bank” or “banking” in their communications – CU Journal
