CFPB releases guide for preparing, recovering, rebuilding after disasters

The CFPB has released a guide to help individuals with their finances if they are preparing for, recovering from or rebuilding after a hurricane, tornado, earthquake or other disaster.

The guide includes information on how to:

• prepare finances for a natural disaster or other emergency by making a plan;
• recover and protect money after a natural disaster or other emergency; and
• rebuild a home, property and credit after a natural disaster or emergency.
