Dollar Associates to host webinar on CFPB’s proposed debt collection rule

Dollar Associates, LLC, a credit union consulting firm, will host a complimentary webinar on Wednesday, Aug. 14, at 3 p.m. The session will explore the new CFPB debt collections rule proposal and potential steps to keep a credit union both compliant and collecting when the rule becomes final.

The bureau said the proposal is intended to provide consumers with clear protections against harassment by debt collectors and straightforward options to address or dispute debts.

The complimentary webinar will be led by industry recognized experts from CU Revest out of San Diego, Calif.
