During the event, the Center for Disability Rights will convert their office into a safe and fully accessible “neighborhood” where children with and without disabilities can enjoy the trick-or-treating experience. The office is located at 497 State St. in Rochester
Volunteers will be needed from 3-6 p.m. and 4:30-7:30 p.m. to hand out candy, work the game room and assist with other activities. The Commission’s volunteer meet-up will take place 4:30-7:30 p.m., but the Center for Disability Rights is seeking volunteers to fill both time slots.
To register as a volunteer for the event, email Commission member Priscilla Hennig of Reliant Community FCU at phennig@reliantcu.com.
