Election Day 2020: Early voting begins Saturday

Early voting in New York state for the upcoming general election begins tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 24, while Tuesday, Oct. 27, is the last day to request an absentee ballot.

For early voting, polls are required to be open a minimum of eight hours on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. and a minimum of five hours a day on weekends between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., according to voteearly.org.
