Registration is open through Friday, April 29 for the New York Credit Union Association’s Financial Counseling Certification Program — FiCEP — which offers member credit unions an enhanced version of CUNA’s FiCEP, combining the affordability and convenience of a self-study program and a hands-on approach and networking of an off-site CUNA school.

Certified credit union financial counselors are in a unique position to guide members to financial security, particularly as consumers seek reliable financial advice from budgeting to navigating financial hardships amid the pandemic.

The New York Credit Union Foundation also offers grants that may be used toward participant costs.
