Marketing Conference kicks off in Saratoga

Credit union marketers and communications professionals from throughout New York are in Saratoga Springs today for the start of the New York Credit Union Association’s 2017 Marketing Conference.

The two-day conference will be led by Jeff Allison of Think Café, Association Compliance Director Linda Bow, and Kenja Purkey, marketing director of People’s FCU in Amarillo, Texas.

This morning’s sessions will be led by Allison. His topics will focus on new member recruitment and loan growth, leveraging internal culture to drive business growth, and narrative marketing.

Bow will also provide the group with a compliance update, and specifically she will focus on website accessibility and compliance with the American with Disabilities Act.

Tomorrow, Purkey will facilitate two sessions titled “Disaster Recovery & Crisis Management Using Social Media” and “How to Market to People Not Like You: the New Market Segmentation.”
