Credit union service organizations must complete their annual reaffirmation with the NCUA’s CUSO Registry by March 31.
On Nov. 21, 2013, NCUA amended federal rules and regulations related to CUSOs. Included in the amendments is the requirement for CUSOs to agree, in writing, to provide information directly to the agency. CUSOs should provide required information and annually update their record using the registry.
The public can access the following information for registered CUSOs through the CUSO Registry search function:
- legal name and any doing-business-as or trade names;
- CUSO Registry number (assigned by NCUA);
- services offered;
- address (physical);
- public website address (if provided by CUSO); or
- public phone number (if provided by CUSO).
