Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan will make an appearance at the 2018 State Governmental Affairs Conference. During the conference, Sheehan is expected to present a proclamation recognizing and commending credit unions for their community-service work.
Sheehan, an attorney, has served as mayor since 2014 and previously held the position of Albany city treasurer. Before entering public service, Sheehan held a number of positions in the private sector, including with the law firm Bond, Schoeneck & King.
The 2018 State GAC will be held April 23-24 at the Renaissance Albany Hotel in Albany. The conference provides attendees with opportunities to build relationships and discuss credit union issues with some of the most influential figures in state government.
