Young credit union professionals from throughout New York still have time to register for New York Credit Union Association’s 2018 Young Professional Fall Education Summit, Nov. 14-15, in Rochester. The registration deadline is this Friday, Nov. 9. The event provides attendees with information on education, awareness, networking and advocacy opportunities within the credit union movement.
The event will kick off with a networking reception at The Strathallan Rochester Hotel & Spa.
The following morning, attendees will hear from a variety of speakers who will share their diverse insights into the credit union movement.
Marge Kazz, management consultant for the Association, will provide the attendees with an informative breakdown of credit union financials and NCUA reports.
Michael Lieberman, Association VP of governmental affairs, will provide the group with an advocacy update and share his experiences with the political process.
Additional speakers include:
- Marie Betti, CEO of Western New York FCU and Association board chairwoman;
- Richard Sellwood, VP of member services of Reliant Community FCU and Young Professionals Commission chairman; and
- Amy Calabrese, chief brand officer of Reliant Community FCU, who will discuss the journey from a young credit union professional to a credit union executive
