CFPB increases maximum cost for consumer credit report in 2019

cfpb-logoThe CFPB announced an increase to the maximum fee a consumer reporting agency may charge for providing a credit report to a consumer. The annual adjustment, made under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, raises the cap to $12.50 for calendar year 2019.
