The registration deadline for the New York Credit Union Association’s 2019 Collections & Bankruptcy Conference is tomorrow, May 3.
The Association’s two-day conference will be held May 21-22 at the Association’s headquarters in Albany.
The conference is designed to teach attendees how to tackle some of the most difficult member-issues affecting credit unions. During the first day of the conference, session topics will focus on collections issues. On the second day, attendees will dive into credit union-specific bankruptcy topics.
Franklin Drake, partner of the North Carolina law firm Smith Debnam Narron Drake Saintsing & Myers, will lead the conference. For the last 30 years, Drake has lectured regularly at practical training courses, bankruptcy and regulatory compliance programs and webinars. His articles on the practical application of laws and regulations to credit union procedures have appeared in state bar magazines, nationally distributed newsletters and online.
