Young credit union professionals and volunteers can register for federal advocacy trainings on Sept. 9 and Sept. 23, which will focus on the importance of advocacy for young professionals early in their careers.
The full-day program, hosted by CUNA, will teach attendees the benefits of advocacy, how to build strong relationships with their members of Congress and best practices for district and Capitol Hill meetings in Washington, D.C.
The trainings will feature insightful speakers, a congressional staff panel and updates from CUNA and League personnel. The program will conclude with an evening reception.
Both events are being limited to only 25 attendees, and interested attendees should consider registering as soon as possible. The training will take place in the Capitol View Room at the Credit Union House in Washington, D.C.
