The NCUA and Small Business Administration will host a webinar on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 2 p.m. that will focus on SBA loan programs. The webinar is geared towards credit unions that want to learn more information about the programs.
Registration for the “Big Picture of SBA Lending for Credit Unions—Part 1” is now open. William Briggs, senior advisor in the SBA’s Office of Capital Access, and Diana L. Seaborn, director in the SBA Office of Financial Assistance, will discuss:
- a brief history of the SBA;
- SBA benefits to the borrower and to the credit union;
- an overview of SBA programs; and
- how offering small business loans may align with a credit union’s mission.
