The National Credit Union Foundation is seeking nominations for seats on its board of directors. Volunteers can generally serve up to three terms of the duration of the term of office for the seat they are selected to serve in, as long as they are re-nominated by the National Foundation’s Nominations Committee and re-elected by the board.
The qualifications for the seats are as follows:
- Seat 1 – CUNA board representative;
- Seat 4 – the candidate must be an executive officer or director of a credit union;
- Seat 7 – the candidate must be an executive officer or director of a credit union;
- Seat 10 – the candidate must be an executive officer or director of a credit union;
- Seat 16 – the candidate must be an executive officer or director of a credit union or system affiliate or at-large.
Candidates interested in applying should visit www.ncuf.coop/board to obtain the “Declaration of Candidacy” document. Applications must be received by October 25, 2019.
