U.S. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Maryland, has released the 2020 House schedule for the second session of the 116th Congress. Notably, the House will be in session Feb. 25-27, which coincides with the Capitol Hill visits during the 2020 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference.

The House will convene for its second session on Jan. 7. It will meet for 113 days in 2020, which is in line with the second session of new majorities in previous Congresses.

No votes will be scheduled in the House before 1 p.m. or after 7 p.m., except during the consideration of appropriations bills. If necessary, the House may debate and consider other legislation after 7 p.m., but no votes will be held past that time.
