2020 DE training dates announced

The National Credit Union Foundation has announced dates for its 2020 Development Educator sessions. The seven-day sessions are held in Madison, Wisconsin, and are limited to 48 attendees each.

The training provides critical lessons in cooperative principles, credit union philosophy and international development issues while incorporating challenges credit unions face today.

The mission of the DE program is to help established and emerging leaders within the credit union movement understand and leverage credit unions’ unique business model to serve members and communities in new and better ways. Individuals who complete the training will earn their CUDE certification.

In 2020, the National Foundation will hold DE trainings on the following dates:

  • March 29 – April 4;
  • May 10 – 16;
  • Sept. 13 – 19; and
  • Nov. 8 – 14.

Registration for the four classes will open on Jan. 7.
