Inspirational EXCEL 20 speaker lineup announced

It’s official, legendary figure skater and Olympic gold medalist Scott Hamilton, dynamic leadership and professional speaker Marilyn Sherman and renowned, high-energy motivational speaker Kenyon Salo will be the EXCEL 20 keynote speakers, the New York Credit Union Association has announced.

EXCEL 20, the Association’s Annual Meeting & Convention, will bring together hundreds of credit union leaders, volunteers and industry professionals for four days of learning, inspiration, networking, relaxation and more. This year’s event will be held June 11–14 at the Lake Placid Conference Center.

Scott Hamilton, the most recognized male figure skating star in the world, has won 70 titles, awards and honors. He has received an Emmy Award nomination, been inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame and is a member of the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame.

In 1984, Hamilton captured the attention of the world with his Olympic gold-medal performances in Saravejo and since has shared his love and enthusiasm for the sport as an analyst and commentator, performer, producer and best-selling author (“Landing It,” 1999; “The Great Eight,” 2009). He further inspires others as a speaker, humanitarian, and as a cancer and pituitary brain tumor survivor.

Marilyn Sherman has spent years motivating and inspiring audiences to get out of their comfort zone and get a front-row seat in life. After starting her career in corporate America, she is now seen as the go-to motivational keynote speaker for corporate and association markets that want their people to improve their morale, teamwork and communication skills, and ultimately achieve more results.

With her background as a training officer for a major finance company, Sherman honed her skills to motivate audiences who are often hard to motivate. With her engaging and fun personality, Sherman connects with her audiences quickly and delivers content that they can immediately use when they get back to their office.

Kenyon Salo is one of the top trainers, facilitators and keynote speakers in the fields of adventure, leadership, team building, sales, customer service and inspiration/motivation.

One of only five members on the Denver Broncos Thunderstorm Skydive Team, he is seen each week flying into the Denver Broncos Stadium at 60-plus mph, ending with a soft tip-toe landing on the 10-yard line. He brings to the stage over 20-plus years of successful audience engagement through humor, awe-inspiring moments, prolific storytelling and “edge-of-the seat” content.
