Among the many efforts to assist credit unions and the members they serve, the New York Credit Union Association provides its members access to a variety of high-quality and affordable services by partnering with organizations that can provide unique products and services to credit unions at preferred prices.
Credit unions can be confident that all of the Association’s strategic partners have been thoroughly vetted and are in good standing with the Association. Each of the Association’s strategic partners combines quality offerings with a deep knowledge of the credit union industry, enabling credit unions to better serve their members and achieve their mission.
The Association has long-partnered with Alloya Corporate FCU, which provides cooperative services to over 1,400 credit unions, providing them access to extensive financial services, technological capabilities and skilled professionals. By aggregating resources, Alloya Corporate FCU aims to expand credit unions’ capabilities, while containing costs.
Additionally, Alloya Corporate FCU’s wholly-owned CUSO, Alloya Solutions, provides balance sheet strategy, investment execution and risk measurement services to more than 800 credit unions in the United States. Credit unions can leverage the knowledge and experience of Alloya Solutions’ experts in an effort to help increase earnings and save time.
Alloya Corporate FCU also works to support the credit union movement in a variety of ways, including hosting its annual Credit Union Executive Leadership Symposium, which brings together credit union executives from across the nation, and provides education on industry trends, economic factors and leadership.
Alloya Corporate FCU also provides scholarships to allow individuals from an Association member credit union under $100 million in assets to attend an Alloya, Association or national event by covering registration fees, hotel accommodations and travel expenses. For more than 15 years, the CMG Foundation has awarded scholarships to small-asset credit unions with limited education budgets. In 2019, 16 scholarships were awarded, covering more than $26,000 in expenses.
