I am disappointed to announce that EXCEL 20, the New York Credit Union Association’s Annual Meeting & Convention, is canceled. The conference was scheduled for June 11-14 in Lake Placid, New York. At this time, we are not rescheduling the event.
Unfortunately, there are just too many uncertainties surrounding the coronavirus pandemic at the moment. While we’re all hopeful we will be returning to some sense of normalcy by early June, our board of directors and leadership team appropriately determined that the health and safety of our members is by far the most important priority. To that end, we have made the decision to cancel all of our in-person events through June (we will evaluate our other events scheduled for later in the year as we get closer to those dates).
I know many of you will be disappointed, just as I am. EXCEL is a premier event and an important opportunity for the New York credit union movement to come together to unify, connect and recharge. We will be releasing information about EXCEL 2021 as soon as it is available, and your attendance is strongly encouraged.
Until then, stay safe and stay healthy.
Note: Registrants will receive a full refund. All hotel reservations made through our hotel block will be canceled by the Lake Placid Conference Center and any deposits made will be fully refunded.
Appreciate very much for a timely decision
