The New York Credit Union Association is hosting several webinars in April, including many focusing on the impacts of the coronavirus on credit unions. The Association, through a partnership with the Credit Union Webinar Network, offers dozens of educational webinars each year, and registration is open for April sessions.
Credit union professionals and volunteers are encouraged to take advantage of the following coronavirus-related webinars in April:
- April 1: “New FMLA Families First Requirements for Paid Leave Effective April 1, 2020.” The Families First Coronavirus Response Act is effective on April 1. Are you ready? Do you know the requirements? Learn what you need to know about complying with this latest consequence of the U.S. COVID-19 epidemic. Click here to register.
- April 6: “Financial Risk During Widespread Disruption: What the Board & Management Should Monitor.” COVID-19 is already having a huge impact on the economy. But closer to home, how is it likely to affect your credit union’s financial health? Click here to register.
- April 13: “Interagency Statement on Loan Modifications: Working with Borrowers Impacted by COVID-19.” Are your borrowers struggling? A recent interagency statement provides guidance for working with borrowers experiencing loan shortfalls due to the impact of COVID-19 – but outside the normal TDR structure. Click here to register.
- April 22: “New FFIEC Procedures & Pandemic Guidance for Business Continuity Management & Resilience.” The FFIEC has adopted new procedures for business continuity and has recently updated Pandemic Guidance.
