Credit unions are invited to participate in a two-part Juntos Avanzamos webinar series focusing on identifying ways to help Latino micro and small businesses amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Many small businesses are feeling the brunt of the economic hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, with Hispanic small businesses facing even deeper challenges with less access to capital and resources, such as the Paycheck Protection Program.
Hosted by Inclusiv, the webinar series, “Reaching Hispanic Small Businesses in the COVID-19 Environment,” will be presented on Thursday, May 21 and 28 at 2:30 p.m.
Topics will focus on the most common challenges faced by Hispanic entrepreneurs and small business owners, the types of loans that are most attractive and relevant and best practices in small business lending.
The webinar series will also include discussion of the continued need for affordable and relevant lending options for Hispanic small businesses and entrepreneurs after the COVID-19 crisis is over and credit unions’ role in the recovery process, offering small business financing alternatives to their communities.
