An updated filing instructions guide for HMDA data collected in 2021 is now available for credit unions and other financial institutions in preparation for filing 2021 data with the CFPB in 2022.

Although there have been no significant changes to the submission process for 2021 data to be submitted in 2022, the guide provides information that may be helpful for compliance officers and staff who collect, prepare and submit HDMA data on a quarterly basis.

Beginning with HMDA data collected during or after 2017, financial institutions have utilized the HMDA platform to upload loan application registers, review edits, certify the accuracy and completeness of data and submit data for the filing year.

The updated filing instruction guide can be accessed by clicking here. Additional resources regarding HMDA can be accessed by clicking here.
