The New York Credit Union Association has emailed its 2021 dues invoices and 2021 CUNA dues invoices to member credit unions. The invoices contain the subject line “Invoice Confirmation (#—-)” and came from the Association’s Member Relations email address, member.relations@nycua.org.
In an effort to keep Association membership valuable and viable for New York’s credit unions, the Association drastically restructured its formula for calculating its 2021 dues.
In an email to member credit unions on Nov. 12, Association President/CEO William J. Mellin said:
At the New York Credit Union Association, we pride ourselves on our ability to listen to our membership, and then respond and act in a manner that is best for your credit union. And make no mistake: In this extraordinary year, we heard you. As challenging as 2020 has been, we’re fully aware that for many of us, 2021 is where the real challenge begins. That’s why the Association has worked hard to manage the overall impact of our membership dues. In 2021, we want to ensure your credit union can continue to engage in the advocacy, compliance, professional development opportunities and all of the many offerings provided by the Association and the Credit Union National Association.
