
The Young Professionals Commission, which helps New York credit unions engage, connect and empower the next generation of credit union leaders, is hosting a virtual governmental Q&A at 7:45 a.m. on Feb. 22.
The event will feature Assemblyman Jake Ashby, his chief of staff Tom Grant and staffer/mayor of Cambridge Carman Bogle. Participants will earn about the panelists’ backgrounds, professional development, advocacy tips/tricks and have a light discussion on credit union legislative priorities.
Registration is complimentary and open to all New York Credit Union Association young professionals.
Feb. 22 is also the kickoff of the Association’s 2021 Virtual Advocacy Tour, with key state-level legislative updates and meetings with influential policymakers in state government, beginning at 1 p.m.
