Volunteers, find out how to help credit unions prepare for post-pandemic success!

The COVID-19 pandemic rocked the world — and the credit union industry. Now, as the world begins to emerge from the pandemic, it is critical that credit union boards and supervisory committees are strategically positioning their institutions for success in the future.

The New York Credit Union Association is joining with other leagues from the Northeast region to present a timely and informative discussion designed specifically for credit union volunteers at 5 p.m. on June 29.

“The Way Forward: Post-Pandemic Strategies for Your Credit Union,” led by credit union consultant Ancin Cooley, is being offered complimentary to credit unions as a benefit of membership in the Association.

The session will provide participants with a practical road map for knowing when to lead, when to partner and when to stay out of the way.  Specifically, participants will discuss topics including:

•           go back … then go forward;

•           reset your mission and vision;

•           strategy vs. optimization;

•           compensation, bonuses and when to let go;

•           implementing the risk appetite and risk tolerance statements; and

•           developing measurable strategic goals.

This Northeast Credit Union Volunteers Education Collaboration webinar will be presented by the Association in coordination with the Association of Vermont Credit Unions, Cooperative Credit Union Association, Credit Union League of Connecticut, CrossState Credit Union Association and the Maine Credit Union League.

Interested participants can register for this event on the Association’s website.
