Association, Cabot partner to amplify #ilovemycreditunion social media blitz

With the July 30 “I Love My Credit Union” social media campaign fast-approaching, the New York Credit Union Association has partnered with Cabot Creamery to amplify the message and increase participation in the viral campaign.

The goal of the campaign is for the credit union movement to come together virtually on July 30 with the purpose of inspiring “authentic and high-energy conversation about why we love our credit unions” under the common hashtag, #ilovemycreditunion. Resources are available on the I Love My Credit Union web page.

The farmers of Cabot Creamery Cooperative are offering participating credit unions 10 coupons for a free Cabot product to use as an incentive in the social media campaign. New York credit unions that would like to take advantage of the offer should fill out this form by Monday, July 26. Cabot will mail the coupons to the credit unions by July 30.

On July 30, participating credit unions should ask their members the simple question, similar to the following: “Tell us why you love your credit union in the comments below. Use the #ilovemycreditunion hashtag in your response and we will randomly choose 10 members to receive a free coupon from Cabot!”
