
The New York Credit Union Association has announced a diverse group of speakers who will tell powerful stories and share insightful knowledge at EXCEL 22, the Association’s Annual Meeting and Convention. At EXCEL 22, the Association’s premier event of the year, these speakers are sure to leave attendees feeling inspired, excited and motivated!
EXCEL 22, will bring together hundreds of credit union leaders, volunteers and industry professionals for four days of learning, inspiration, networking, relaxation and more. This year’s highly anticipated event will be held June 16-19 at the Sagamore Resort.

Thursday, June 16: Erin Coleman
Erin Coleman is the senior director of Advisory Services for Filene. Coleman helps credit union teams and volunteers activate Filene Research Institute’s research and incubation work. She creates and delivers interactive programming designed to empower organizations to improve financial well-being across the communities they serve. For more than 25 years, she has been a credit union champion gaining deep insights about consumer and employee needs by working both inside and beside credit unions of all sizes.
Friday, June 17: Kenyon Salo
Kenyon Salo is one of the top trainers, facilitators and keynote speakers in the fields of adventure, leadership, team building, sales, customer service and inspiration/motivation. One of only five members on the Denver Broncos Thunderstorm Skydive Team, he is seen each week flying into the Denver Broncos Stadium at 60+mph, ending with a soft tip-toe landing on the 10-yard line. He brings to the stage over 20+ years of successful audience engagement through humor, awe-inspiring moments, prolific storytelling and ‘edge-of-the seat’ content.
Saturday, June 18: Shannon Huffman Polson
Shannon Huffman Polson, U.S. Army Apache helicopter captain, author and business consultant, was one of the first women to fly the Apache helicopter in the U.S. Army, leading line units on three continents. She combines her passion and firsthand experience in the study of leadership and grit to deliver world-class keynotes and training to companies and organizations on leadership and grit. She is the author of “The Grit Factor: Courage, Resilience and Leadership in the Most Male Dominated Organization in the World,” and the founder of “The Grit Institute,” a leadership institute committed to whole leader development and a focus on grit and resilience.
Saturday, June 18: Tiki Barber
Tiki Barber, former New York Giants running back, author, TV correspondent and entrepreneur, joined the New York Giants in 1997 and during 10 seasons became a Giants legend, earning three Pro-Bowl appearances and helping his team to an NFC Championship in 2000. After his career in football, he chronicled his NFL adventure in his book, “Tiki: My Life and the Game Beyond.” He’s since written another book called “Tiki Barber’s Pure Hard Workout.” Barber also co-founded Thuzio, a premium influencer, events and experiences company that features candid conversations and intimate meetings with icons across sports, business and entertainment.
