The CUPAC Sweepstakes kicked off Monday, announced during the New York Credit Union Association’s State Governmental Affairs Conference. With a $25 suggested contribution per entry, participants have the chance to win exciting prizes — including the grand prize of a $2,000 gift certificate to the Sagamore Resort. Secondary prizes include VISA gift cards, including:
- 2 $500 VISA gift cards;
- 2 $300 VISA gift cards; and
- 4 $100 VISA gift cards.

Contributions to CUPAC are not tax deductible. Rules for state political fundraising require us to record the name and address of anyone who donates, and if the donor contributes more than $99 per year, we are also required to disclose the donor’s name and address to the New York State Board of Elections. Corporate contributions from federal credit unions are prohibited.
