
The NCUA has released its agenda for the agency’s upcoming board of directors meeting on Thursday, May 26 at 10 a.m. Members will hear a board briefing on the Share Insurance Fund Quarterly Report.
The National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund is used to make payments of insurance to members, provide assistance in connection with the liquidation or threatened liquidation of an insured credit union, and for administrative and other expenditures in carrying out its purpose. The agency’s 2021 Annual Report analyzed how the pandemic will affect the future financial condition of credit unions and the Share Insurance Fund.
The meeting will be streamed live on the NCUA website, and results will be reported in The New York Minute.
