Niagara’s Choice FCU receives community charter expansion

Niagara’s Choice FCU, a $262 million credit union located in Niagara Falls, has been granted a community charter expansion by the NCUA to serve Niagara and Erie counties — which have a combined population of 1,127,983.

Dan Keleher, Niagara’s Choice FCU CEO, says he is eager to begin serving Erie County consumers through in-person, digital, mobile and the shared branching network.

“We get many inquiries from consumers looking to join our credit union through our radio advertising and community activities,” Keleher said. “Now we can provide these potential members and borrowers with our unique offering of low-rate, low-fee products and services,”

The application for the community charter expansion was written by the New York Credit Union Association.
