
Adrienne Harris, DFS superintendent, will be the keynote speaker in a webinar series presented by the Brookings Institute on regulating digital assets, on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 2 p.m.
During the complimentary webinar, “Digital Asset Regulation: The State Perspective: Effective Regulatory Design And Implementation For Virtual Currency,” Harris will discuss her perspective as a state regulator dealing with digital assets and cryptocurrency. The event will also feature two panels of experts, one focused on issues of prudential regulation, supervision, safety and soundness, and a second focused on issues of consumer and investor protection.
