Credit unions and individuals can support the National Credit Union Foundation’s disaster relief program, CUAid, which is currently available to provide emergency funds to those impacted by the fires on the island of Maui.
The National Credit Union Foundation is working with the Hawaii Credit Union League and credit unions on support needed in the wake of the deadly wildfires, which swept across the island of Maui late Wednesday, killing numerous people and destroying the historic Lahaina Town neighborhood.
The National Credit Union Foundation’s CUAid disaster relief grant program is always active and will begin processing disaster relief grants with coordination with local credit union CEOs. CUAid supports credit union volunteers and employees affected by natural disasters through disaster relief grants.
You can donate to CUAid at any time. Every penny contributed goes directly to credit union employees and volunteers impacted by natural disasters.
