In this week’s New York Minute, we’re recapping all the fun from EXCEL 24, New York’s Premier credit union event!

With EXCEL 24 officially wrapped, we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated in this year’s convention. The Silent Auction to benefit the Foundation and our Casino Royale-themed Gala Dinner were also standout moments, thanks to your enthusiastic participation.

TruStage Golf Tournament & Silent Auction Raise $36,000 for the Foundation

The TruStage Golf Tournament and the Association’s Silent Auction collectively raised a remarkable $36,000 for the New York Credit Union Foundation during EXCEL 24. Held at the picturesque Saratoga Lake Golf Club, the golf tournament garnered $25,000, offering participants a memorable experience for a noble cause. The following day, the Silent Auction raised an additional $11,000, featuring a wide array of coveted items and fostering a spirited bidding atmosphere among attendees.

Both events highlighted the generosity of our members and directly supported the Foundation’s mission to aid and advance New York’s credit unions. Thank you to all who participated and contributed to these successful fundraising efforts.

EXCEL24 Wine Pull Raises $10,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

The Wine Pull event at EXCEL 24 brought both excitement and generosity to the forefront, raising $10,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. For just $20, attendees participated in the surprise of selecting a “mystery” bottle of wine.

This activity sent participants home with unexpected surprises and benefitted CMNH’s crucial work with New York families. Thanks to everyone who contributed to making this event a resounding success, demonstrating once again the profound spirit and commitment of New York’s credit union community.
