NCUA Announces Funding For Low-Income-Designated Credit Unions

The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) has announced the 2025 grant round for the Community Development Revolving Loan Fund (CDRLF), allocating approximately $3.5 million to support low-income-designated (LID) credit unions. The application period opens October 15, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern and closes December 16, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.
The CDRLF provides LID credit unions with critical funding to expand services, strengthen operations, and reach underserved communities. In 2024, average grants totaled around $26,000. - New Charter Capacity Building (up to $50,000)
- Underserved Outreach (up to $50,000)
- Student Internships (up to $25,000)
- Technology, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence (up to $25,000)
