The World Council of Credit Unions and CUNA have announced this year’s International Credit Union Day theme: “Dreams Thrive Here.” According to WOCCU, the theme is intended to illustrate how credit unions and “other financial cooperatives serve as catalysts to make different professions, personal choices and career paths real.”

This year’s ICU Day will be held Oct. 19. According to WOCCU, the ultimate goal of the celebration is to “raise awareness about the great work that credit unions are doing around the world and give members the opportunity to get more engaged.”
