Today marks start of International Credit Union Week

Dreams-Thrive-Here-Lo-Res-LogoToday marks the start of International Credit Union Week, and this year’s theme is “Dreams Thrive Here.” According to the World Council of Credit Unions, the theme is intended to illustrate how credit unions and “other financial cooperatives serve as catalysts to make different professions, personal choices and career paths real.”

International Credit Union Day will be held this Thursday, Oct. 19. The celebration is intended to “raise awareness about the great work that credit unions are doing around the world and give members the opportunity to get more engaged,” according to WOCCU.
