Association facilitating GSTV advertising campaign during ICU Week

‘Find Your Platinum Lining’ is 2018 ICU Day theme

International Credit Union Day will be held Oct. 18, and the New York Credit Union Association will again be raising awareness during International Credit Union Week with a statewide advertising campaign through Gas Station TV. The campaign will reach more than 695 GSTV locations in every corner of the state—for an estimated 1.4 million impressions—during the week.

Throughout ICU Week, GSTV will often air a short commercial that reminds millions of people that credit unions are a viable financial partner for every American. The ad will include the URL for the asmarterchoice.org website, where potential members can find a credit union in New York they are eligible to join.

GSTV is a highly effective digital video network that allows brands to connect with on-the-go, captive consumers at the gas pump. Approximately 88 percent of viewers report that they enjoy watching GSTV, and the high engagement with viewers delivers twice the ad recall of traditional media. Additionally, 41 percent of GSTV viewers are millennials, which is significantly higher than the millennial reach of traditional TV.

Credit unions can take advantage of a 30 percent reduced, preferred partner rate exclusively for credit unions from GSTV all year long.

“Our partner, GSTV, offers a proven and effective way to reach engaged audiences,” said Dave Adams, president and CEO of CU Solutions Group. “This promotion will help share the credit union story across the country, increase awareness and engage new members in a big way. We’re excited to once again work with GSTV and our partner leagues to promote the credit union difference with such a far-reaching project.”

GSTV will host informational webinars for credit unions on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m., and Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 4 p.m. Both sessions are complimentary. To request a new webinar time, email shana.sistek@cusolutionsgroup.com.
