The New York Credit Union Association has seen a positive spike in engagement as more member credit unions are taking advantage of business partnerships and benefits of membership.
The Association tracks 26 “touchpoints” for services in the following categories: advocacy, events and training, compliance, communications, outreach initiatives, business partnerships and leadership.
The Association has seen especially strong increased membership engagement through their advocacy efforts, compliance services and leadership opportunities. In addition, the Association is on pace to far exceed last year’s overall attendance of 1,750 participants at Association events.
Additionally, the Association is continuing to grow at a steady pace, with over six years of consistent increased membership.
“The Association is proud to work day in and day out to support the New York credit union movement,” said Association President/CEO William J. Mellin. “With a strong board of directors, a passionate and dedicated team of professionals, and an engaged New York credit union community, the Association is well-positioned to continue advocating, educating, uniting and supporting the interests of all credit unions statewide.”
