The New York Credit Union Association is seeking feedback on NCUA’s proposed bylaw amendments.

During their board meeting last month, the NCUA board of directors issued a proposed rule intended to update, clarify and simplify the federal credit union bylaws. The board also proposed changes that will update and conform the federal credit union bylaws to legal opinions issued by NCUA’s Office of General Counsel.

The Association is conducting an online survey to gather credit union feedback on this topic and formulate a comment letter to the agency. The Association is requesting feedback by Jan. 5. Comments are due to the NCUA by Monday, Jan. 14.
