Welcome to the New York Minute. Here’s why we changed the name and look of our daily newsletter

Welcome to the New York Minute, the New York Credit Union Association’s new daily e-newsletter. The decision to rebrand our newsletter came out of a larger effort to revamp all of our email communications.

“As we started looking at our larger email communications efforts, it became clear that ‘The Point’ had run its course both in terms of name and content,” said Association President/CEO William J. Mellin. “We wanted a daily newsletter that was both more engaging and more informative for the New York credit union community. The New York Minute aims to be both.”

The new email style and platform will allow the Association to better segment, target and analyze our emails based on reader preferences.

As the names suggests, the email version of The Minute is meant to be easily digestible and read quickly. Readers can follow the links in the email to find out more information.

Within The Minute blog, the Association will be providing readers with more in-depth news and analysis, including feature articles with a focus on the New York credit union movement. We also plan on incorporating more multi-media into the blog.

If you have any ideas for The Minute, we’d love to hear from you. Please email us at communications@nycua.org.
