The survey deadline for the New York Credit Union Impact Report—formerly known as the MORE Report— has been extended and will remain live on the New York Credit Union Association’s website through January. All New York credit unions are strongly encouraged to participate in the survey.
The New York Credit Union Impact Report is a powerful advocacy tool, providing legislators with compelling stories and statistics about the great work that credit unions do for their constituents. Report highlights are also shared with the media, creating a platform for enhanced public awareness.
This survey allows the Association to compile, quantify and share the results of those efforts on a statewide level.
The report documents New York credit unions’ impact in the following key areas:
- adult financial education;
- community outreach and investment;
- financial counseling;
- immigrant outreach;
- youth financial education; and
As previously reported in The New York Minute, the report this year will be produced in a hybrid print-and-digital format intended to immediately grab and retain the attention of lawmakers and their staff.
